Alex I have never heard of that- where do you buy it?

I use Hydra Bio Clean as a multi surface cleaner and kitchen surface cleaner.
As it can be used as mop, scrub or spray method.

I have a Vileda "1,2,3 Spray" mop. You fill the handle with your prefered cleaning agent, press the handle to spray the water in front of the mop and swipe away. I leave it with cleaning stuff always in so it's ready to go. Probably not good for a very dirty floor but great for a quick clean as it doesn't involve getting out and filling a bucket.

MiniMouse no rinsing involved.
The damp mop with the vinegar/water mix only leaves a trace and it is dried off with my wonderful string mop.
Please don't look at link for the string mop if this is considered advertising and is wrong.

Reported. Spam for a Miami firm - why do people think we are going to send for a firm in the US to clean our carpets?

Coolgran do you rinse off the vinegar mix or just dry it off?

I've seen a long-handled steam mop being advertised on TV recently. Can't remember the make (Karcher?) I'd love one but don't think I could use it on Karndean sad

Thanks, Anya, was wondering about that. Something that can be used without the twisting or bending is what I need, haven't tried a steam cleaner. I wash it over evety day but it really needs more than that.

Have you tried a long handled steam-cleaner?

Thanks, Coolgran65, this is a farm kitchen floor, so gets heavy duty wear and tear, will try your solution too, I like Lakeland.smile

I use white vinegar in warm water and a microfibre type mop and mop bucket - floor gets just damp. Finish off drying with a string drying mop from Lakeland, £12.99 and brilliant. I do an area and dry it off then move on....really fast and no streaks.

I use Ecover all purpose cleaner with washable flat mop, I ain't getting on hands and knees for nee one.

I get spondylitis, and scrubbing floors either on hands and knees, or with a longhandled brush is getting painful because of twisting. Can anyone recommend a multipurpose floor cleaner that is light? Thanks!
