nice smells

Personally I prefer my house not to smell of anything but freshness.. opening windows everday and allowing an exchange of stale with fresh air. Can't abide those artificial smelling things and especially dislike smelly candles.. sorry citygranny don't mean to offend you.

My DH has a very sensitive sense of smell, we also have an elderly dog. He complains about the house smelling of dog! I have tried all sorts of air fresheners, candles, plug ins, febreeze, shake 'n' vac but nothing really lasts very long. I keep telling him that it's his own fault, he wanted a dog!

The best smells are those that happen incidentally, not the ones that are there deliberately just to be a smell.

Cook something nice frequently. Keep scented soap and use it whenever you wash your hands.
