My DH objects to me changing our bed linen every fortnight!! Ew! I would love to change it every day if I could! But .........weekly would be my choice. Am I being unreasonable? I think he is lucky that I do change and launder the bed linen!
How often do you change your bed linen ..........and personal towels? (Another complaint from DH that I change them too often!)

Lilygran Thu 24-Dec-15 09:53:56

Every week. Unless I've poured tea on the bed. Bath towels after use. Hand towels when they need it, usually whenever the washing machine's on. DGS are here at the moment so they need it every time I look.tchshock

Bottom sheet and pillow cases every week, duvet cover every other week, shameful, but we are both very clean, we shower a lot, grin I don't think the cover needs to be changed as often as the sheets where there is more body contact, unless the duvet cover gets a coffee stain on it then it's changed pronto because all my linen is white. Towels once to twice a week.

Fortnightly. We usually sleep in separate rooms. I am too hot for DH these days.

Pittcity Thu 24-Dec-15 08:21:51

Bedding weekly here. I strip and wash on a weekend morning and make later in the day. Just ours to make as DS makes his own.
Towels twice a week.

LullyDully Thu 24-Dec-15 08:06:02

Bed linen weekly and towels. Hand towel every few days. DH changes and remakes the beds, I wash.

Long live my trusty washing machine.

suzied Thu 24-Dec-15 07:37:37

Bedding weekly along with the towels and bathrobes. Hand towels every couple of days. One of my DSs had a bedbug infestation once brought in by a second hand bed they were given. It took ages to get rid of them, cost a lot as they had to buy lots of new stuff, pay pest control etc, and was very distressing for my dil who was the only one they seemed to bite. Consequently I change bedding more often than is strictly always necessary as I have this horror of bedbugs.

Marelli Thu 24-Dec-15 07:34:31

I change bedding fortnightly (mid- month and end of month). All towels are changed on Mondays and Thursdays. As we bath/shower every day, I don't see the need to change bedding more often.tchsmile

Iam64 Thu 24-Dec-15 07:33:20

bedding weekly, hand towels and bath mats weekly, shower/bath towels every other day.

kittylester Thu 24-Dec-15 07:25:40

I change bedding fortnightly, shower towels weekly (on the basis that we are clean when we use them!) hand towels in the bathrooms, kitchen and loos, twice weekly and tea towels (which are really only used to dry glasses) twice weekly. Dishcloths I change about 3 times a day. blush

I operate the same system as Coolgran and I also have a paper kitchen roll in the bathroom as an option for hand drying. These get binned and composted.
