Stain Devil, the best!

I'd try the appropriate Stain Devil.

I seem to remember that for grease, covering the stain with baby powder or baking powder and leaving it overnight will soak the grease up. Don't know whether that will work, but it seems fairly harmless to give it a try. Best of luck ☺

Should have said a squirt of the DW liquid directly on to the oil stain.

I'd try dish washing liquid, a short soak in Luke warm water and a gentle rub. But please don't hold me responsible if it doesn't work! Depends on the fabric but works for me in most cases.

Help!! I have just somehow got oil or dirt from the car on mt favourite jacket. It is a slightly shiny fabric and a bit delicate. Suggestions for removal please.
Don't want to take it to cleaners in case they sort of set it and cant get it out
