Found Stain Devil used to do a specific powder for this but don't make it anymore. On YouTube says the one for tea and red wine works so will try it. If all else fails I'll turn them into shorts!

Try Dr Beckmann . I thought I had ruined my dresses, doing my holiday washing .Soaked in this stuff and came out good as new. Track sell it, good luck

Try neat bleach left on for a few minutes then rinsed off. If that doesn't shift the stain, there's no hope! grin

That could be difficult to remove. It's probably oil based. Ask the manufacturers of the tan spray.

Dye them?

Following my earlier thread on tanning legs before holiday, I now have a stain on the knee area of my white trousers! Had a fantastic holiday and started the washing yesterday when I found Brown/orange stain on knees of trousers. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of it and hadn't worn them since first week of holiday so stain had set. Washed normally, soaked in vanish, washed again, tried dilute bleach....no success. Think I have done all the wrong things! Could try stain devil if I can find it, out of stock at Amazon. Any ideas please?
