Vacuum cleaners. Dyson v Sebo

I've been using a Sebo for quite some time and it does the work for me more than great. I haven't really tried any other brands, but maybe next time I'll go for a dyson

Im a Sebo devotee!. Son used ours to clean up after builders, and it never worked well after that. So we bought him a new one. Of course we had to replace the ruined one, and that is luring in our junk room for spares.

Never had a Dyson, pre Sebo it was as/h Hoover , from Ma in law. she never was generous.

But you can't get a professional cleaner in to steam clean every morning, Armida40 can you? Unless your middle name is Rothschild.

Thanks for the replies. In the end I decided to have my faithful Dyson mended. He now has a new motor, new hose and filters, and has had a service. He runs like a new one, so I am extremely pleased and have saved myself over £200 by not buying a new one.

I have a Sebo. It's great. It's easy to change the bag and it has tools for all the fiddly bits. I also have a cordless Dyson for when just a quick whizz round is enough. Seems like a good combo!

Miele cat and dog cylinder vac. They're efficient and indestructible.

I've had a cordless Dyson for just over 2 years now and it's the best vacuum cleaner I've ever had. Just got one for the old mother as it's so lightto work with.
My sister recently bought the newest "animal" Dyson for cleaning up cat hair and loves it too.

Haven't heard of or tried the Sebo though.

I have a Dyson, bought two years ago, and it's brilliant, however, I would like to use a very light Dyson as well, in between the weekly clean, perhaps the 'stick' kind or the GTECH Ram.The Dyson we now have moves easily and picks up everything with great suction power.

I haven't got one myself but one of the ladies I clean for has a cylinder Sebo. It's a lovely little hoover, lightweight and easy to move about. She doesn't have animals but it seems to pick up everything it has to.
I have only used older Dyson at other places (years back) but have never been impressed with them so cannot really compare the two.
