We had new carpets fitted yesterday and the ones in the lounge and dining room have quite a thick dense pile. After the fitters left, we brushed up all the fluff and went to run the cleaner over the rooms. It's a Dyson and it was almost impossible to push it across the pile. We ended up having to pull it backwards across the carpets. Thinking of getting a Eubank type mechanical cleaner for everyday use and then drag the Dyson over once a week. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
