I have been on the waiting list for a bungalow in another part of town, where I live is half way up a very long, steep hill. Been waiting a long time.

Just received a telephone call, got one, smile , going to view tomorrow

Oh that is good news! How I would love to live in a bungalow - sadly there are very few available and usually either outside our budget or just too small.

Nandalot Thu 22-Sept-16 12:45:45

Great news Annie and Wills. Hope you will both be very happy in your new homes.

Oh I agree Annie when we lived up the mountain the views were lovely but walking back up the hill from the Spar or the school could get a bit much! I think you may find it warmer at the bottom too!

Linsco56 Thu 22-Sept-16 12:19:30

Wonderful news Annie do you think you'll be in and settled by Christmas? Hope it will be a happy home for you.

Got up this morning with thought I must ask you if you had viewed the bungalow yet AnnieB ! So glad you like it - how quickly can you move? X x

Pattyann57 Thu 22-Sept-16 08:00:43

thats fab i hope you are very happy...I moved to be near GD and intended settling in town to be useful but then fell in love with house half way up hill..200 year old mining cottage in need rip out.., no bus, no shop, no footpath..so my life suddenly got very tough.
What i should have done was consider the future and be sensible instead went for here and now whim.
