I need a man!

I am after a mobility scooter, one which is lighter and easier to fold up than the one which I already have. Trouble is, the ones I am looking at are quite expensive. Surely it would be cheaper for me to get a man to fold the one I have down?

Any offers, takers or suggestions? wink

A new scooter probably won't argue!
Or snore

Ah - so that's what men are for! How ingenious of you to find a use for them! grin

Or better yet , if you have a hatchback get a hoist so you don't have to bother breaking get your scooter down . I've got one ... best thing ever !

It's a motobility car and they won't fit one N&G.

I've took down their phone number and I'll phone them in the morning. X

I have a mobility car too . You have to pay for the hoist but you get it at a discount if you are eligible for Mobility .

I've just purchased a new one , £165 inc fitting.

The only restriction is dependant on your scooter type there's needs to be a certain clearance in the boot opening but they are very helpful and work all that out for you.

I can recommend these people .

rubylady why do you not PM Galen? She has experience with scooters as well as G&N.

Galen has praised her folding(I think ) scooter which is lightweight and called a "Luggie" I believe.

Yes, Daphne she has, I could not remember the name of it. It appears to be a lot lighter than most scooters.

You don't need a man. They are optional extras.

And tend to need more maintenance and upkeep than any mobility scooter

Dont get a man,get a hoist.A hoist doesn't hog the remote, leave smelly socks on the floor, snore or guzzle pints of beer.

This message board is slowly morphing into Loose Women with the anti-men posts.

Pattyann57 Tue 04-Oct-16 11:53:37

I'm sure they have their uses...

Tizliz Tue 04-Oct-16 12:13:07

I am sure that if men talked about women in this way they would be boo'd off the thread [gin]

Tizliz Tue 04-Oct-16 12:13:23

grin too early for gin

trisher Tue 04-Oct-16 12:48:39

Shortlegs 'anti-men posts' are these generally available? And do you need a man to fit them?

Luckygirl Tue 04-Oct-16 13:02:05

It was a joke......!

nannypiano Tue 04-Oct-16 13:57:01

I can't find a man so made do with metal ramps instead to get my scooter into the back of my estate car, much less trouble long term .....

Blinko Tue 04-Oct-16 19:38:35

I think you'd find that longer term, a man works out more expensive than £165 inc. fitting.....

Get yourself a mobility scooter ruby.
A scooter does not expect you to run around after it.
It runs around for you.
