I feel so sluggish! I am supposed to be decluttering the whole house, ready for a move and I just don't have any enthusiasm for it, so I am wasting time on my laptop and making lots of tea! I am hoping I'll get a burst of energy this afternoon! No idea why I am so loathe to get started.

Today (Sunday) I have done nothing apart from sit in my new onesie which has a Christmas explosion on it and snuggle my doggie. Important stuff then eh? smile

Sorry, I work a day different to everyone else and I have been denying putting the clocks back too. Sundays are hard enough sometimes to get through without an extra hour! grin

I climbed on top of my kitchen worktops today (well, Sunday) to clean the top of the wall cupboards. They were revoltingly greasy/dirty - and yet we don't fry much - I guess onions, and bacon sometimes! Can I leave it for another year now?

For some strange reason today I decided to move my pine dresser and chest freezer in the dining room so I could clean underneath them. Very satisfying but I am now knackered - I had the dinner to cook (casserole - can't be a****d with doing a roast) and the bed stripped. Putting on a clean king size duvet is not my idea of fun. I am finished for the rest of the day and just looking forward to Strictly!! Any teatime food will not be provided by me grin

DH and I are still recovering from our 'holiday' with 3 DGC and a dog. Long journey, 3 days and then long journey back. Children and dog were absolutely marvellous, but we were totally knackered by the time we got back! So we feel we have achieved enough today if we've washed, eaten and not gone to sleep.

This week we've decorated the kitchen and replaced all the doors on the units, I've been having a good sort and chuck out resulting in half empty cupboards, true therapy to me, I'm sad!

Good thread. I‘ve been planning to completely do over my sitting room after Christmas. I don’t have that much, TV, sofa, chair, side tables. I like the minimalist décor. I think posting here about my progress could be good incentive.

I have done 2 loads of laundry both of which are currently hanging on the line. I've hoovered and dusted down stairs and tidied the kitchen.
Then I was sick ill so I think I'm done for the day apart from cooking dinner tonight.

Yesterday I tidied up after our Hallowe'en party, walked into town and back and took the grandsons on a very long charity Halloween trail organised by our local shops. Then took part in a cricket club quiz (came last). So today I am recovering with a lazy day. The only thing of note I have done (apart from browsing the internet whilst dipping my hand in and out of the cauldron of Hallowe'eners' sweets by my side), is waste over an hour searching in vain for a poem I love about seizing the day grin

I've done very little at home but I've swept the leaves from my mum's path, cleaned her bathroom, and vacuumed (which has to be done daily as she suffers with eczema).

I'm going through a big drawer full of paperwork and shredding anything over 7 years old.

Guess it doesn't matter. Saturday I filled a large brown paper sack with clothing to give away. I cleared off a long low book case of clutter and went through some of my large collection of cookbooks finding some to give away.

I'm confused is this what you've done Sunday? It's still Saturday for me. confused

Following on from morethan's thread about throwing herself off a cliff, I thought we could encourage each other and say what we have achieved in our day.

I filled a box today of my pet's toys etc., to put in my new sideboard.

I went to the tip with lots of rubbish.

I washed up and fed myself and my pets. smile
