Thinking of downsizing?

Thanks chelseababy I've just had a look at this and will be waiting for the white paper next week on this subject. I have always thought it would be a good idea to charge less stamp duty to people who are willing to downsize. It would free up larger properties for families and help pensioners with living costs. But I won't hold my breath as it sounds far to sensible for our greedy government.
