Residential park homes

Yes, I can see that this subject came up almost a year ago - in March 2016. (Since then, downsizing seems to have come up on quite a few threads, but with minimal mention of park homes.) I'm hoping that a year on, perhaps there are now more Gransnetters out there who have experience/knowledge, of park home living? Certainly there seems to be a big increase in the park homes available for over 55s, across the UK.

There was a long thread on this subject not so long ago sorry I can't find it to provide a link.. I think the consensus was to be very wary of the site terms and conditions.

DH and I are seriously considering downsizing from our three bed semi with large-ish garden. One option we've looked at is residential park homes - there are some local ones which look excellent. (In 2013 the law changed to give more "protection" to buyers of such homes, so many residential parks are not what they used to be!) Do any Gransnetters have recent and personal experience of such homes?
