Lakeland used to sell a little bottle of silicone gel which was great for lubricating sticking drawers etc. I can`t find it on their website anymore. Does anyone remember what it was called? I can`t find anything similiar anywhere else

Sorry, I can't help you with that, but have you tried running a bar of soap along the runners of your drawers? It sometimes works. ?

WD40 is a good alternative

Graphite will smooth the running for metal and plastic. That's why you are told to run a pencil along a zip that won't work well. Finely ground graphite is available, but be careful getting it on your hands.
