Flowers to be delivered monthly or for when the season changes.

My fall-back is usually a beautiful wooden chopping board. A really nice two inch thick one, possibly with some wooden kitchen spatulas or spoons added.

A bottle of something - not necessarily alcohol but perhaps a speciality oil or a nice serving plate. Wine glasses or tumblers might be appreciated - you might be invited back to try them out!!!

This is transitional-traditional, weather friendly, and in the largest size quite useful.

Yes, the other suggestions are good, something for the garden. It's hard to know the exact taste of what they would like in the home, colour schemes etc or what they already have, but most people like a present for the garden.Solar lights?

Two of the very best large extravagant containers for plants. They could use in the garden or at the front door.

Or a plant?

Do they have a garden? If so how about a pretty shrub or Rose, if not a pair of winter flowering hanging baskets for by their front door.

If they have a garden, how about a plant.
I always take an unusual variety of an easy to care for perennial or shrub.

I know it's not what you want but seriously I'd get them a gift voucher so they can choose something for themselves.

My daughter & OH have just moved into a new house and they've invited some family and friends over.

I want to get them something nice - but something more than things like candles and throws.

Any suggestions?
