www.ikea.com/gb/en/customer-service/ikea-apps/

I'm astonished!

I didn't think you could buy Ikea stuff online. Is this app just to show you where to put your furniture (which is weird) or is it so you can order?

You can buy online - when you are searching you can opt only to see items which can be bought online.

Oh, that's useful to know. Thanks.

Well blow me I didn't think you could buy online has anyone used it and know what the delivery charge is ?

I knew you could buy online but astonished at this app that places items in your chosen space.

I've used it a couple of times. Delivery charge was £30.00, but as I don't live near an IKEA and it was all very heavy items felt it was worth it.

Have used Ikea delivery when buying after moving house. Delivery charge is the same no matter how many items so it pays to do a bigger order or share with friends or family. Delivery men are usually pretty obliging

Just come across this thread.
I bought a table for my kitchen on line from IKEA about 3 years ago.
It may have changed now but I know that the delivery charge was actually less than if I'd ordered it in the shop. Delivery man helpful also.

I used the facility on their kitchen planning page to see where to put units in my kitchen and you can see it in 3D and rotate the plan - this showed that to put the fridge where we had planned would have looked ridiculous height wise - able to change things round before spending a penny.

Check Amazon for smaller Ikea items - often available on there as well
