Hard water and limescale

Ah, that’s something that’s on the ‘to do’ list. I don’t know why the stupid builder laid grey tiles, he’s local so he knows what the water’s like! Hard water has been a total shock, I’ve had soft water all my life and took it for granted until we moved here last year.

Yes, but it will be a constant job, as the water you use to scrub with has lime in so it will scale up again.
We have dreadful water and I've struggled for 20 years until last August when I discovered water softner. Well what a revelation, my bathroom is sparkly, our shower doors are actually see through and it's the best money I ever spent, just need to top up the salt monthly.

Is it possible to scrub hard water/limescale residue from slate-style wetroom floor tiles? I thought I’d ask before actually trying to save making things worse. Dodgy knees and a small space make it something I’d rather avoid unless it’s the best way to solve the problem.
