I present mobile phone is on its last legs as I have had it approx 12 years , I am now looking for a basic phone to make/receive calls and text with large keypads as I have eye problems.
I wondered if anyone had tried a Doro and could they recommend them ? or suggest any other make.

www.easiphones.co.uk/
This company looks quite good.

I had a TTfone. www.ttfone.com/ and it has been very good. Big buttons, robust, holds charge for ages. After a couple of years I decided I'd like a smartphone, so I passed it to my son in law, who used it for another year or so. Now it lives in their kitchen drawer, as a spare for anyone who has lost/ broken or is otherwise between phones. Surprising how often it reappears

If you look on the RNIB website in their shop they have some good mobiles that are easy to use

A technophobe friend has a Doro and gets on well with it.

I'm another one to recommend a Doro mobile, so easy to use with a large keypad and font.

I have had a Dora for about three years. It has been fine. Really good but I know someone who has had one which packed up after a short period. However, all makes have the odd blip. I have a very basic one which requires texts to be typed via the keys. However, you can pay more for a Dora with a touch screen for texts. Hope you get what you want.
