I have replaced my fold-up beds with inflatable beds. Much more comfiortable and take up less space.

Argos. I bought one that folds up so easily even I can do it! - and it's comfortable.

I wondered that, too, agus. Are Jon Walter and his guide in the States? There are a few clues in his opening post (which ia a bit laconic for a new poster hoping for advice, too).

Ikea is your best bet you can get replacement covers to ring the changes if you change decor at any time.

I agree with Hilda - the Ikea fold up bed is very good - when DD wanted one we found the mattress on their beds was much deeper and therefore more comfortable.

Depends on how small you need it to fold up, ideally sofa bed or Futon as has been suggested so that you can use it during the day too.
