Karcher window cleaner

I think they are very useful for awful condensation in my bathroom BUT I left it unemptied when I went on holiday and now there seems to be a residue of black in the tank- presumably what makes the grouting grubby if I leave the walls dripping. It has no way that I can think of to get it clean. Any ideas please.

Fill it with a solution of warm water and a sterilizing fluid like 'Milton's' and allow to soak before half emptying and shaking to disturb the mould. Then rinse thoroughly and rinse after use.

I have one and its brilliant. I leave the rubber bung open while cleaning up condensation or cleaning windows, and pour the water through the hole after use, then leave it open after use so air can circulate. In my experiance, anything damp that is left with no air and cant dry out will go mouldy. Hope that helps.
