Please can anyone suggest a suitable steam cleaner? I only need it for the floors but have textured, non=slip vinyl. I understand from reviews on Amazon that I beed a rough, bristly cloth for that and that most cleaners don't have one. It also needs to be small and light to use, Many thanks.

I have a Vax steam cleaner, you can get different textured cleaning pads, and it also converts into a hand held steamer for showers, hobs etc.

Very light and versatile, I was anti getting it at first, but wouldn't be without it now.

I really didn't rate cleaning the floor with a steam cleaner, so bought one of these as it takes the hard work out of cleaning both my conservatory and kitchen floors. I bought it when it was on special offer and paid about 60 quid for it. It's great but you'll still need a mop unfortunately.

I have a vax steamer and whilst it does a good job I find it unwieldy in small areas. I'm sure there must be lighter weight ones around now.

I also used the Vax steam cleaner before I moved and didn't have any problems. It really is a bit heavy but once you get used to it, it's fine.
