In praise of purple bricks

I was initially sceptical but as a buyer I am FED UP with traditional EAs who half the time Im sure arent even passing on my viewing requests to vendors and are instead using my details to try to talk me into viewing more expensive properties they have on their books.

I hate the back'n'forth... five phone calls to sort one viewing. On PB you see all the times that suits the vendor and pick one.

Really more of a rant about traditional EAs really...

Didn’t work that way for me.

Went onto PB website. Got list of viewing times

Selected Saturday 4.30. because I was in the area on that day viewing a number of properties.

Got confirmation of day and time.

Made some rearrangements.

Next day got email cancelling appointment. New time 12.30 on Sunday.

Rejected appointment.

Back onto website. List of available dates and times.

Selected Saturday 10.30.

Got email confirmation.

Saturday, set off early to make appointment. Nobody there.

Email arrives cancelling appointment. Rebooking Sunday appointment.

Cancel Sunday appointment.

Offer on house that v nice estate agent shows me.

Purple Bricks house still on market after several weeks.

Maybe. Im just having a very bad EA day: dragging heels re viewing on house Im very interested in while pushing me to view ones Im not. So far my PB booking remains booked.
