Instant Pot or similar for vegetarian meals

I have been thinking of one of these for months but would welcome some feedback before a pricey purchase. There's usually just myself and husband, occasionally a son, to cook for but we do cook every day, with a one-pot dish at least once a week for two meals or to freeze half; so not sure the size we would need and, being vegetarian, we don't need functions specially for cooking meat. I envisage using one to cook porridge, make soups & casseroles, cook dried beans, rice, etc but not sure of size and it would need to be used regularly to merit a space with all the other gadgets on the worktops!

I have very recently bought a pressure king pro pressure cooker, mine is a 3 litre size.
So far it has been really good. I have cooked a sausage casserole , macaroni cheese and rice. All have worked really well.
Mine cost me £34, though larger ones would be more, so I don't feel that is too expensive. I am on a facebook group for people with these pressure cookers and lots rave about the Wilko one which is even cheaper.

I can see me using mine a lot, so I think they are well worth it.

Thank you CassieJ - I'll check that one out. It's confusing when there are so many brands/types to know whether a basic cheaper model would be just as useful as an expensive one (if anything like my washing machine, I use only about three of the many wash options!).

I do not pay for any music I ask to be played.

I love it- I do not use it to switch on the lights because I am not sure what to do. I need somebody to come here for half a day and show me how my smart TV and phone work!

hmm Don't think I'll be clicking on the links from 1bachir2000!

No-one else should either! There is a clue to why they should not in the last part of the first one.

I suspect that post was created by a robot which altered a few of the words to others meaning almost the same and added links to sites they want to promote. I have reported it.

That deletion was quick!

I reported it Elegran! HQ must have responded very quickly!

Meant to say that it was the first link that prompted me to act, as it looked decidedly suspect!

I didn't follow the links, but apparently they were both porn sites - HQ don't like gransnet being infiltrated by That Kind Of Thing.

There is/was another of those copycat posts on another thread, with added links. I don't know where those links went but probably somewhere similar.

HQ probably wouldn't have a large enough supply of smelling salts!
