I saw some lovely ones in Home Sense today - it's the home furnishings branch of TK Maxx.

Wilco are also good.

Yes dunelm do really nice cushions and very reasonable too

I mix them up, too and have often had surprised favourable comments about the fact that I have also mixed different textiles - satiny and velvety, rough linens, cottons. As with clothes, I don't do prints, just single colours, so nearly anything goes.

I have enough cushions. If I fancied anything new, I would go and rummage in the remnants at the draper's to make new covers.

Dunelm or Terrys fabrics

Yep Dunelm from me too. However, my lovely bright red cushions came from BHS sad

mine (and my curtains ) came from M+S , toning not matching , all to go with one bright one from TKMAX

I got my last few from Etsy but have got some lovely odd ones from tkmaxx.

Ikea, Dunelm, Primark and Sainsbury's if you are extra lucky. You definitely do not need to spend much.

Lovely mustard cushions in Primark. £7

IKEA - great price for cushions and throws
TKMaxx - you sometimes get a designer bargain

if you want something a bit different and are prepared to pay a bit more have a look at Sophie at Home for ideas

Look on Amazon.
I am always changing my cushion covers.

Put in lowest price first.
Be careful though what can seem to be a low price can be bumped up on postage.

I have had some great deals and never had a problem with quality.

I have also seen the same cushion design in shops retailing at quite a bit more.
I think they must buy from Amazon and resell at higher price.smile

Here you go, for some reason the plain cushions look cream, but they are definitely mustard!

phoenix Sun 03-Mar-19 16:19:22

PS, existing cushions were made from fabric from Dunelm, unusual mix of colour and texture, satin, chenille, will try to do a pic!

Try Etsy! They have zillions to look at. You can search by pattern or colour on there.

Just bought 3 mustard colour cushions from Dunelm, to intersperse with the existing cushions on our sofa. We already had the Dunelm mustard curtains, so brings it together nicely, without everything matching, iykwim!

We do have a Dunelm not far so will aim to get there as soon as possible. Now I've decided to do this I just can't wait... you know how it is! Brilliant, Gonegirl, I'd never have thought of the garden centres. We have 2 lovely ones near us... I want to go TODAY but they'll all be closed now. (I'm so impatient once I get an idea in my head).

lemongrove Sun 03-Mar-19 16:13:39

Yup, Dunelm every time! It’s my second home.?

Gonegirl Sun 03-Mar-19 16:12:04

Round here the garden centres often have nice cushions. You could probably get botanical themed ones there.

paddyann Sun 03-Mar-19 16:09:50

I prefer mismatched cushions and you cant beat Dunhelm for choice and reasonable prices

B9exchange Sun 03-Mar-19 16:09:10

I'd also advise Dunelm, if you have one nearby

TwiceAsNice Sun 03-Mar-19 16:07:57

Dunelm is good for matching and a reasonable price

gillybob Sun 03-Mar-19 16:00:24

I love throws and cushions . It’s a relatively cheap way of freshening a room up too.

Mustard and yellow are both very popular at the moment and will go with both grey and brown . If you can stretch to a throw (or even better a rug ) that would be great . I don’t think you can go past NEXT for lovely cushions and throws . Have a oook on line for ideas . Perhaps if you can afford it a few little accessories will pull it all together . Oh and try to mismatch the cushions rather than symmetry . It works .

Lounge is quite dull - brown leather sofa and grey sofa - so I'm aiming to brighten up with cushions and possibly a throw over one of the sofas which is very old. I like green, all shades. Like the botanical look. Also quite like mustard which seems fashionable now. Don't want to make costly mistakes. Anyone got any ideas of where to get good quality, reasonably priced cushions? Also how to put colours and patterns together? Anybody out there an interior designer?
