Short beds for adults and small rooms

Hello Everyone, this is my first post here. Hope you can give me some advice. I'm looking for a single size, 3ft wide, short bed length of about 69/70 inches, as my bedroom is very small, only 10ft by 8ft. and the usual 6ft 3 inches is too long and although I have a bed at the moment of that length, it's so difficult to manoeuvre around my bedroom. So if anyone knows of a shop, online or otherwise, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks, folks

Just a thought but what about looking on line for children's beds/toddlers beds - they are usually a fair bit smaller than a normal single bed but if you are a bit on the short side and not too wide yourself - would be perfectly fine in a small room. I have slept on my GS's bed in the past and found it very comfortable the mattress needs to be substantial though to give extra comfort for a heavier adult (I mean heavier than a child)

Thank you, Jomarie, I have looked at children's beds, they are the right length, but they seem to be so expensive, can't see why, they have less wood/ metal to make them! And yes, I am short and not too round...;) I would get my own mattress anyway, I really like the memory foam ones, they are more comfy for my bones.
Thanks too to FlexibleFriend, I have looked online, same pricey ones.

If you buy a normal size single , the sort with slats, I guess it's easy for a joiner with a saw and a screwdriver to shorten it to any length you like.

Look up the ikea hack kallax bed. All you need to do is source the right size/shaped mattress then make your kallax bed to fit the mattress. Very easy with added bonus of loads of under bed storage

Also cheap.

I thought they were quite reasonable myself but the reason they are more expensive than standard sizes is because they sell a lot less of them.
Have a look on Pintrest and get some ideas for making your own using basic storage cubes then buy a piece of foam cut to size.
