Pretty tins ideas?

I use them as pretty containers / boxes for gifts to give to family,
Fill them with an assortment of things, usually in a theme, for example gave my daughter small soaps and little bath scent blocks, added a natural sponge and a little candle.
Another time I put in a variety of crafting notions, ribbons, threads and so on.
But some I just keep and use myself for my own crafting bits and bobs.

I can't be doing with stuff like this taking up space. Unless they are particularly useful, into the recycling they go.

I should add, I'm not particularly sentimental.

Some are collectable.

The ordinary ones eg M&S that word Christmas tins probably get filled with stuff eg cakes for a sale and then I 'forget' to pick them up.

The smaller pretty ones I use for holding such things as scissors, tape, pins, crochet hooks, other craft stuff.
Crayons, pencils for the DGC
Sindy bits and bobs -- ditto -- DGC

It's the jars which sit on a shelf waiting to be filled that annoy DH!

You can only use so many. Need to bin them.
Or.. just had a thought Offer on freecycle or simikar site.

Could plant them with small succulents or herbs? Ideas on Pinterest.......
