My underwear drawer is such a mess. Can anyone recommend a good divider system so that I can separate bras, briefs, socks etc.

Mine came from IKEA a few years ago, but I imagine they'd still have something similar.

Second Ikea they have several drawer dividers. I have a crochet one they had a few years back.

Ikea for me too - I have two or three sets of these which are designed to fit the Ikea chests of drawers I have, so they're perfect. They used to do ones that can be cut to size and slotted together in whatever arrangement suits your drawers, but I'm not sure whether they're still available.

I'm very basic. My drawer holds 4 shoeboxes. Perfect for separating bras/knickets/dark/light.

What a great idea Coolgran I may well copy that idea!

I just separate into different parts of the drawer when I return them after washing. Works very well and doesn't cost anything.

I just have a pile of knicks a pile of trainer summer type socks and a pile of winter thicker socks only got two bras one on one off all goes on one shelf in my wardrobe

Ikea drawer dividers and the Marie Kondo folding method .
Sorted .

Does anyone else have different knickers for summer and winter?
I've just sorted out my clothes for winter, and put away the flimsy knicks for the thermals.
I have my underwear in a small chest of drawers...one small drawer for each, knickers, bras and socks/tights.

All in one drawer, no dividers, use Marie Kondo folding and it's all neat.

I buy little plastic boxes in tesco or dunelm and separate things according to colour- 3 drawers for pants, bras/camisoles, socks/tights.
I have far too many of everything really. Must try not to buy for a while.
No I don't have summer pants.

I have a tall narrow 6 drawer unit from ikea, two shallow drawers for socks, then one drawer pants one drawer bras, pjs, and hair dryer/straighteners, it has a lift up top with mirror the most handy unit I’ve ever had.

Ice cream cartons or any other square plastic container that food comes in.

I've a soultion: Don't wear bras and briefs! And be free, Free, FREE!

But keep the socks ..

Hetty58 Sat 09-Nov-19 23:39:40

Why worry? Who else is going to look in there? I have no problem finding stuff in the jumble of chaos in mine. I agree with rosecarmel about the bras (just for going out or special occasions) and briefs (not needed under thermals)!

I don't have different knickers for winter and summer - to be honest I have never heard of anyone doing that before.

I keep my underwear in 3 different - small - drawers. If I am being organised the knickers all get rolled up and sit neatly in the draw. BUT normally they just get chucked in!

BlueBelle Sun 10-Nov-19 08:21:31

Different knickers for different seasons ???fur lined draws
Never heard of that one before

Pantglas2 Sun 10-Nov-19 08:34:01

Three small separate drawers knickers, bras, socks and tights together. I do fold the bras in half and nestle them in a row on their sides and socks are paired in colour order light to dark - beginning to sound obsessive now.....grin

DanniRae Sun 10-Nov-19 13:13:22

WoW Pantglas - I am very impressed by your organisation! grin

Just store in separate piles putting the freshly washed ones at the bottom of the pile.
This of course depends on how big your drawer is.
Works for me.

Treebee Sun 17-Nov-19 21:49:17

I put a shoe box without the lid in the drawer and roll my pants up as Marie Kondo describes. All neat and visible; same with my socks. Bras sit against the side of the box.

Esther1 Sun 17-Nov-19 22:53:26

I don’t have any drawers in my bedroom for storage so socks and underwear are stored in pretty boxes and baskets. The advantage being that I can sit comfortably on the bed with the box to find what I am looking for.
