I think you may find it quite difficult to use a wheeled one on a carpet and will dents not become almost permanent?

Thanks to both - it seems I'll have to get used to a wheelie one.
I'm going to have to make the effort to go into 'Toon' and try out different ones.
My 'puter contact is so important these days.

Sorry Fennel, hope you get some pointers soon.
I don't use a computer chair, but DH does, and it's on wheels, on a carpeted floor.
Good luck with your search.

So that you do not feel so lonesome!

I did not reply because my chair is on wheels and is on a tiled kitchen floor. I can and do whiz around but it is easy to get out of without falling over because the fridge/freezer is not far behind it so that stops me. Otherwise it would not be safe to get out of it.

No replies!
At least please tell me about your 'puter chair.

I've been using a wooden chair with arms and backrest, upholstered seat.
We used to have a tiled floor, but now carpeted, so it needs to be lifted before moved back. Once again I've tried to push back and the chair toppled over backwards. The backrest has been mended so many times, probably now unmendable.
So I'm looking for a new chair.
Any recommendations? Most I've seen are on wheels, but I think that could be risky for me, with age-related balance problems.
