Anyone live in Chipping Campden? Would you recommend it?

I was there in October for a few days and it certainly is very beautiful. I would imaging house prices are high- prices in the shops and restaurants were and I imagine its overrun with tourists at peak times. Still David Cameron lives there - he must like it.

I don’t live there, but we visit quite a bit, have a drink and a meal in The Eight Bells and then go on a mile or two to Hidcote (NT gardens). It’s a lovely village, very unspoiled and I would live there if not for needing to be nearer to the family.
I can’t think of anything negative to say, other than Cotswold house prices, but you already know about those am guessing.

I don't live there but it is glorious.

No Teetime it’s never overrun with tourists ( suprisingly) and certainly there is always parking midweek.
It’s not like Chipping Norton or Broadway.

Cameron lives near Chipping Norton not Chipping Camden.. the two towns are about 20 miles apart.

Thank you ladies, this is helpful. @lemongrove yes wincing about house prices but might bite the bullet. Good to know about the parking.
