The view from my kitchen window.

I'm not good at uploaded photos. I can see our lovely long garden. Over the fence at the bottom I can see the canal bridge over which I can see people walking each day. To the right of the bridge there is a beautiful willow tree on the canal bank which we can see from our windows.

This has been fascinating! So many lovely views although if I looked out and saw those wood pigeons I'd probably let the dogs out...

Not because I don't like them, but because they are thieves and steal the food I put out for the smaller birds.

There used to be a pair of them that nested on the ivy at the back of my house, when it grew up to the roof. They, or thier offspring, came back each year but then I had the ivy cut back to a more manageable level and height. They got very, very confused. I used to love hearing them cooing to each other.

Thank you for this thread! It has prompted me to clean the kitchen window, a job which was well overdue ?

Fields and woods here but also sadly a neighbour in shorts which really should be consigned to the bin.
