After over 40 years of hard work, I am lucky enough to be able to look out at this glorious view whilst chopping veg etc.

What can you see?

View from my window with my tame blackbird eating her mealworms.

Vampire pots are great, I enjoy container gardening and find it very satisfying. Usually put little ceramic birds in each pot as I have a cat and the real birds stay on the fences.

I'll try to download a picture of my garden. Oops, no luck! From my worktop I can see through to a wonderful view of our garden with fields and hills in the distance. I never fail to notice it, after ten years living here!

This is my whole garden. I can only grown in pots.

I may have to paint my own scenic view on the bins.
A few flowers...

I think I need to weed the patio.
What immaculate gardens!!

I love my little haven. Been here 3 and a half years and it’s still a work in progress ?

My kitchen looks out to the front. The view is of communal landscaping and the other side of the road, where at least I can see the world go by.

Pantglas2 Thu 04-Jun-20 11:38:57

My view of the recent super moon from just outside the kitchen window

MattJo Thu 04-Jun-20 11:22:13

My kitchen window faces the yard wall which may not sound too interesting but the wall is covered with honeysuckle and the bees are having a wonderful time.

Callistemon Thu 04-Jun-20 11:21:01

Sorry, back to lovely views!!

Callistemon Thu 04-Jun-20 11:20:36

We have to put the bags out for collection. Leave one trace of any food on a container and the seagulls swoop, tear open the bags and spread everything all over the road.
I remember when one neighbour was using those disposable nappies for her baby and the seagulls, well, you can guess the rest.

Those bins are for six families.
Not a pretty sight (or smell!) when it's coming up to bin emptying day.

Callistemon Thu 04-Jun-20 11:10:30

We only get polythene bags, not nice bins, MissA sad

Callistemon Thu 04-Jun-20 11:08:12

The road at one end with no cars or people, just trees.
The other end similar to ginny's! but with flipping pigeons canoodling and trying to make a nest.

For a moment I wondered how ginny had got into my garden grin

Sorry to lower the tone.
See the thread about window film.
