Has anyone got successfully got rid of these? I have a couple of wollen rugs bequethed by my mother. Recently discovered that there are moths. We sit watching TV and one of these buggers flies by, I have pulled out the sofas and found a little nest. I have vaccuumed to death, washed with a water/vinegar solution. Will get rid of the rugs if there is no other way but has anyone got rid of these moths successfully?

I believe there is a spray you can buy through Amazon that kills them.
A bit like cat flea killer which i do know works.
Good luck.

Sorry, I should add that I have a cat and a dog, so it must be something that will not be harmful to pets.

I think you should be able to find a solution that won`t harm the family pets, especialy these days.

If they are not huge Rugs, put them in a dustbin bag spray with
Rentokil killer spray, seal and leave for a few days.Good
Luck.sooner rather than later the little devils get everywhere
And the last place you want them is in your wardrobes.
I use Lakeland sweater bags and put a moth killer sachet inside
Having learned the hard way.
