Thank you everyone - if I do try the Emma pillow I let you know how it goes.

2 things, rolling a small towel and putting it inside the pillow case at the bottom where it will be under your neck is fantastic. Also letting your neck stretch twice a day by sitting up straight and letting your head hang forward (do not push it) have been amazing for me. I suffered a trapped nerve in my neck that I felt in my shoulder for years until putting those in place and been fine ever since.

Obviously not a doctor and he should probably see one!

Another here who has tried so many different types of pillow but still not found one that alleviates neck pain. I've currently got the Ortorex Orthopaedic memory foam pillow that was really quite expensive and I'm still not comfortable with it. So still looking.....

I can sympathise with your DH, kaycee, as I have the same problem, although I don't think I snore hmm. I'll look into the Emma pillow suggestion and await other recommendations.

DH has been waking up with really bad neck ache and pain in shoulder. We googled and bought a specially shaped Bamboo pillow. This helps a bit but not much and because it is quite low doesn't help with the snoring!!. A friend has just got an Emma mattress, which she says is brilliant and suggested I look at the Emma pillow. Anyone had one or other suggestions gratefully received.
