Ikea Dishwasher

I am wondering if anyone has an Ikea HYGIENISK dishwasher. I’ve bought my kitchen for delayed delivery end October, COVID slowed the build dramatically but they’ve just written to say they no longer have the RENODLAD Dishwasher I ordered and paid for. It had a 5 star Customer rating but the HYGIENISK only has 2 1/2 star Customer rating, granted only a few reviews but 2 mention problem of light flooding and shorting machine. Therefore I’m loathe to order this HYGIENISK dishwasher. I’d like an Ikea appliance as all other appliances are Ikea and I like very much their 5 year warranty.

Plus lots of the dishwashers I’ve looked up AEG included, are slightly different dimensions and I’m concerned they won’t fit the Ikea cabinet.

Anyone with any insights? Thanks

I know it looks good having all machines in cabinets but when something goes wrong I discovered it cost extra money because the appliance, with difficulty, had to be taken out of the cabinet ( my dishwasher) and it all cost more money.

I had no idea they sold appliances. Could you find out online who is manufacturing them and they then take on the Ikea name? Without naming names it may be a firm which does not have a good reputaion.

Hi tends to be Whirlpool but I think that there is another supplier as well.

Our son has an integrated Kenwood dishwasher in his IKEA kitchen.

I've had my Ikea kitchen for 20 years now and in that time have had at least 4 different fully integrated dishwashers, None came from Ikea.

We have just got a kenwood fully integrated dishwasher, it comes highly recommended by which magazine and was a lot cheaper than the rest.
