Hello everyone.
After many years of excellent service, I have sadly had to admit that my current Eubank Classic sweeper is no longer fit for purpose!!!!!!
Can anyone recommend a good quality replacement?
I find these sweepers to be invaluable, on days when I am in too much pain to manage my sturdy Dyson.
Thank you
Kind regards

Eubank still make one - but I don't know anything about it. Sorry.

However... there are now a few well-rated ones that have a battery but are still super-light.

My mother-in-law who can no longer manage her vacuum has bought one of these lightweight chargeable ones and loves it. She uses it between visits from a lady who does the "serious" vacuuming.

Maybe this is an option for you? The battery is nothing like those on the "super-suckers" - the cord frees such as the Shark or Dyson.

I have used a fairly up to date eubank and it was excellent.
Or... how about a robotic vacuum?

Leifheit. I bought it a few years ago at John Lewis and brought it home to Australia and it's still going strong. Perhaps Google to see if they are still made. I still call it 'the ewbank' !!

I have a Bissell rechargeable carpet sweeper. Lightweight and very effective. About £35. Argos sell them.

Bissell sturdy sweep carpet cleaner eBay £17.28.

Hello everyone
Thank you for taking the time to respond.
I have gone ahead and ordered the Leifheit, which was the one I liked when browsing online.
Great to get a personal recommendation though!!!!
Thanks Bigred.

Sorry , too late.
Oh I wish I had known, we have one that is not used, I could have sent it to you.

Our first and best carpet sweeper, was a Ewbank. Nothing else came close.

Now we have a G-tech, a Robot one and a Miele vacuum.
