7. Been here since daughter was aged 9 and she is now 45. So this house is by far the one I've called home for the longest time. Possibly one more move in me.

I am in my 15th property, three with my parents, three as a student and five in my first marriage, one in between, three in this marriage. Been seven years in this house so far and I expect it will be the last, unless I need to go into a care home eventually.

Probably 8 in total, half with my parents and half as an adult. I tend to stay a while 21 years in my current home with no plans to move. I was in my previous home for 18 years. Our first home together was only 4 years before moving up the ladder. I don't like moving that's for sure.

10 - I didn't include stints au pairing.
But I didn't have to move furniture or all my belongings.

Callistemon Fri 22-Jan-21 20:42:17

8 - is it time to move again?

SuzannahM Fri 22-Jan-21 20:40:12

About 22 - father RAF till I was 16, and this includes a number of returns to live with family in Wales in between postings. Had three flats in London, lived and worked in America and Australia and this is the fourth house OH and I have lived in. Until this house I had never lived in a house for more than five years. One more move next year when OH retires and I hope that's it.

At least they’re not snug in his cot SueDonim!
?

I’m in my 11th home, I think. Most of the moves were when I was young. I was in my previous house for 40 years, but I have moved to a flat for practical reasons.

SueDonim Fri 22-Jan-21 20:28:06

I forgot one move which I only learnt about quite recently, from my sister. Apparently we lived with my GP’s for a while when I was a toddler. I vaguely recall their flat but I had always assumed that was from visiting them, not that we were living there!

Someone in my village still sleeps in the same room in which he was born, 70-odd years ago. I always think that must be weird for his wife, somehow.

grannysyb Fri 22-Jan-21 20:20:37

Probably about eleven or twelve.

Biscuitmuncher Fri 22-Jan-21 20:13:23

Kim19 Fri 22-Jan-21 20:12:13

6 for me and hopefully no more.

Davida1968 Fri 22-Jan-21 20:06:06

I've lived in seven houses, including the house I was born in. Plus two short-term (rented) homes, between house purchases.

Marydoll Fri 22-Jan-21 20:05:24

Seven and no intention of moving again, unless it's the graveyard!

3dognight Fri 22-Jan-21 19:58:51

Eleven if you count twice living in Nurses Homes, whilst training.

I hope I stay here forever. But who knows?

Sar53 Fri 22-Jan-21 19:49:41
