Just re-read my commets on Karcher. Should have said that as only a small amount of fluid used each time, using Karcher's own fluid does NOT work out expensive.
Would add that I am nearly 80 years old, and do have serious mobility problems and am unable to stand for mote than a few minutes at the time, yet am able to do this job quite easily.

Thank you Fran ??

Interesting, I’ve been considering buying one for ages, but I thought it might just be yet another gadget for littering up the home, use a couple of times, decide it’s more trouble than it’s worth, and put it in a cupboard never to be used again.
But your positive comments are encouraging, I might just invest.

Dh enjoys using ours, too.
High time someone invented boys’ toys for washing kitchen floors and cleaning the bath. An oven-cleaning boys’-toy would be brilliant, too.

?? Where are all the female inventors??

I have a Karcher. Easy and light to use.
As Spice has said, difficult at the bottom of the window - but I usually just turn it sideways, and I also use a fibre cloth for any smears left.

I do use Karchers own cleaning fluid in the spray bottle, probably do not need to do that - but only use so little it does really work out expensive. Although I have a window cleaner for the outside of the windows, I am still able, with this machine to do all my own inside windows, mirrors and shower screens.

I like mine too, especially for mirrored wardrobe doors. Like others I have a glass cleaning cloth that I use to get rid of the streaks.

Excellent advice, thank you all. ???

My OH loves ours. As this makes him happy to do the windows and mirrored wardrobe doors regularly I consider it a brilliant invention.

Brilliant and quick, I do have a e - clothe on hand for the odd remaining drips.

I brought mine from Aldi £19.99. 3 years ago. It gets the windows clean but always just give them a wipe with kitchen if there are any streaks. Have to turn it sideways do the bottom bit. I use some white vinegar in the spray bottle mixed with the water to clean the window.

I like mine but I do find it is difficult to do the bottom of windows that don't have free space below them. The body of the unit hits the floor or bench and will not do all the window. Can turn it sideways but it doesn't seem to be as effective. You also need to clean the rubber regularly.

It’s very speedy but does leave tracks - it’s good for shower enclosures too ...

Love it for speed and for the conservatory. I do find I have to use a dry kitchen towel to remove some streaks but that may be poor technique!

I’m considering buying a window Vac and wonder if you can let me have your opinions please on your own experiences with such devices.....
