Ant invasion

Got up this morning leisurely shower then came down to a swarm of ? in the kitchen YUK! Luckily only on the floor none on the counter tops so far. It’s taken me an hour to gather them up and spray around the back, very well fitting door they’ve come in by. Arghhhhh!!!

I’ll be checking the front doorstep when I’ve had breakfast.

I’ve noticed over the past few days that there are many more ants than usual ( in the garden)
I wonder if it’s a good/ bad sign of anything weather related.

Diatomaceous earth sprinkled round edgings and doorways.. harmless to pets and children.. acts as a dessicant. The big river company among other suppliers...
