Kitchen replacement-what colour?

We used a small local supplier. They hold catalogues from many makers and can get you anything you want. They are keen to compete with the big suppliers so there’s a deal to be done.
There are some wonderful deep or bright colours out there if you’re brave enough.
We went for sage with white silestone tops but could have had any colour.
I tend to go for a muted palette throughout the house and accessorise with big colourful paintings and pots that can be changed about.
That’s just me though cos I am easily bored.

Justannother I had a lovely kitchen from Benchmark. I used a local home improvements company. They have an account with Benchmark and let me have their discount , also I used the place they have account for tiles and flooring saved over £3,000 in all. Benchmark have wide variety of colours of units and different worktops. I only had the sink and tap from them . They didn't sell the brands of appliances I wanted. If you want an induction hob get one with crosses not circles. If you have circles to you can only put that size pan on the same size circle. Crosses you can use anyone for any size pan. I can use my milk pan or preserving pan on anyone.

Our first house had a glossy yellow kitchen. I loved it, but have never been brave enough to go for a bright colour since. In this house, I chose cream coloured units with colourful tiles for the wall behind the oven/hob.
It is easy facing, and needs a light colour otherwise it would be quite dark in the evenings.

We've got wood units but with Sage green tiles. I'd have Sage green units if they'd been available. It's my favourite colour. So soothing. You could jazz things up a bit with special tiles?

I am about to replace my kitchen and have seen a very fetching one in a delicate shade of turquoise. It looks stunning but I wonder if it will date quickly.

I have navy base units and light grey above . Turquoise glass splash back.

We have just had our kitchen replaced and we used a company called DIY kitchens. www.diy-kitchens.com/ They are based just outside Doncaster and they see themselves as being in the same sector of the market as Wickes, B&Q and Howdens. They will paint units any colour you want.

My Kitchen is sage green floor units with alabaster (just off white) top units. It has been in six months and I am delighted with it.

Dark blue is currently in vogue as is green especially for older houses as somehow the colours seem to suit. I have been researching kitchens recently, not high end places, and dark blue has been on offer. Magnet, Howden, Ikea, even small local kitchen stores.
