Looking for new bed linen and started a thread on mumsnet. Thought I would put it in here too. Purple colours and like the Dorma ones I have now as the duvet covers have zips. Dunelm don’t do too many now. Can anyone recommend sets for a king size. Thanks

I am just fed up with duvets having buttons rather than poppers!! There must be a reason for it but I don’t know what it is…..

The poppers die long before the duvet cover! I love buttons.
Try Sainsbury’s for covers, I have had a really nice one for a bargain price. Tesco do them as well.

You would hate the Belgian ones, they have an envelope flap which you tuck inside the cover, no 'real' fasteners at all.
One of mine has it along the side and I ended up cutting it off as it can drive you nuts when it comes loose.

Have a look at Bedeckhome.com - they have a sale on at the moment. I bought a duvet set of theirs a few years ago in the sale and it has worn & washed very well.
Most of their things are not in my price range when there's no sale on!

Cotton Traders sell them and they’re 100% cotton. I don’t like polyester bedding and too many are polycotton these days.

Yes. I’ve had to sew press studs (remember them?) on several duvet covers because the poppers have gone.

Bluebellgray do beautiful bedding. My nearest John Lewis used to stock it but the main range of designs are on their website. Fabulous designs and quality.
