Does anyone have an Amazon bought one?
I would really like one, preferably the White Company one, but at over £70 I can only dream….. grin

I have a £30 Amazon voucher that I had forgotten about and would like to use that.

Anyone have one?
Thanks

I think i have what you are talking about. I got mine in Aldi for £15 and it changes colour. Very pretty. No need to spend so much, there are lots on A....n.

I have had them, and they do work, but you must clean them every time you change the water. I didn’t realise this, and wondered why there was a horrible stale smell coming from it. It was a bit of a faff, as I liked to use mine overnight, so it meant disassembling it and scrubbing it out each day. I used an old toothbrush. I had one in my office too, when I was working, and it was only because they both ponged that I realised they were the problem ?

I changed the home one for a hot stone type. They are like saucers that you plug in. They heat to just warm, and you put oils directly onto them - no water involved.

I got mine from Aromatherapy Associates. It is not their fancy new one that needs to be used with their own oils, but a small dark blue/purple one that works with any oils. (AA oils are lovely though).

I hadn’t noticed that with mine Doodle but will keep a nose on or in it.

If you have cleaned yours semi regularly from the start it might not be so much of an issue - I don’t know. I had mine for a while before it happened, as I just filled it up when the water ran out and didn’t think about cleaning it. There must have been drops of stale water lurking somewhere, which now I think about it is not ideal as something to be circulating in a bedroom.

I’m not usually such a minger?. It just didn’t cross my mind.

I have one from the White Company which I love. It was a present to myself with my first pension payment. It’s easy to use and clean and looks lovely. It has a timer so you can set it for an hour or two.
I also have one from Amazon which I’ve had a couple of years. It was very much cheaper. It is awkward to separate the top part from the bottom. It is difficult to clean and reattach the electric cable underneath. I usually spill water from it attempting to put it together. It certainly doesn’t look half as nice. I hardly use it anymore.
I think you get what you pay for.

The hot stone ones can be expensive, but they are a lot better, IMO. I love mine, but if I were buying again I would look for one with an on/off switch. Mine has to be controlled from the plug, so I tend to just leave it running. It hardly uses any power, but I worry that it might shorten its life.

Can't abide anything that sends out smells like that, although some of the perfumes are quite pleasant. I find it like walking through the perfume/cosmetics department of a shop - asphyxiating!

I have the tili diffuser from QVC it was £34 had it a couple of months so far it’s very good. I tried one from M and S cost £30 but it broke after using it a couple of times tried another one, the same thing happened. I think they can be a bit temperamental though.

I have three of these bubble type ones, love them, got ours from Amazon, you do have to change the water quite regularly but wouldn’t be without ours, had ours a few years I think they were around 27 pound each

Be wary of what type, allegedly some of these are harmful to pets.

I had one, but DH decided it was unhealthy to breath in essential oil fumes and kicked such up a fuss about it being used in the lounge, that I never bothered with it afterwards. I should use it in another room really.

I bought this one from Amazon over a year ago, no smell and incredibly easy to change water.

Should be…no bad smell!
