Recommendations for new single oven

We need to replace our single, built in oven. I have started researching what is available and it seems that most new models now come with just one wire oven shelf, plus a grill pan which slides in like a shelf, where I am used to 2 shelves and separate grill pan. There are also so many functions to choose from. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

My oven came like that. I bought an expanding shelf (from somewhere like Coopers of Stortford or Scotts of Stow) to go in it so that I had two shelves, as I was used to. I keep the slide-in grill pan under the bottom shelf because it's easier to slide that out for cleaning than to clean the bottom of the oven! I don't use the grill pan for cooking but get out my old one.....

Had to buy cheaply, but got a Beko oven and induction hob. Both very efficient, only thing I would say, make sure temp gauge on oven is done in regular amounts, mine range from 75 to 100C, then go in 50 degrees around to 250, so have to use an oven thermometer to get accurate heat. Or go Digital . It also has two metal shelves along with a grill pan and insert. On the whole very good value for money.

I was lucky to be able to buy a Neff single hide and slide oven that has pyrolytic cleaning too.it has two wire shelf’s and a grill/roast pan. It’s great as I do a fair amount of baking and has a dough proving function.
I looked at which best buys. Looked also at the energy efficiency of them.

I have just purchased an electric oven, always had gas before, won’t go into reasons. I found the best choice for just looking was in Curry’s. Decided on an AEG which has 3 shelves. Still getting used to it as such a change, still not happy with cakes cooked in it but I need more practice.
