Nespresso vertuo

I have a Nespresso machine and I'm afraid you're right - only coffee.

I've never found any other pods to fit and always buy the Nespresso ones. I order on line

I have a Pixie Krups machine and am pleased that many supermarket brand pods fit. Can you take it back?

Hi thanks for replying. We bought whilst on a day out, 90 mile away from an independent dept store unfortunately, or I would . Never mind we have signed up for the free pods, lesson learned ?

Maybe you can return the machine in exchange for another.

Lots of compatible capsules available. I buy Starbucks, love it (I'm in Sydney)

We were given one of these machines at the Christmas before lockdown and we absolutely love it! We like going out for coffee which obviously didn’t happen during lockdown so we enjoyed nice coffee at home. I buy pods for myself from Sainsbury’s. Their own make. For my DH I buy a make called Caffe Pod also in Sainsbury’s. He only drinks decaf. There are a lot of compatible pods available

You can’t buy anything other than Nespresso pods for their Vertuo machines. We had an original machine bought 2009 which died a couple of years ago and wish I still had it! You can buy capsules in lots of places to fit the old machines and I think that’s why they brought out the Vertuo - because its pods can’t be copied. DH likes the Vertuo because he likes a large coffee but I like espresso. So I’m stuck with the Vertuo and there’s only one capsule for it that I like. I’m tempted to buy another machine to take the original pods but I think that would make me highly unpopular! I might do it some day ☕️??

I have M and S pods in my Nespresso machine which work wonderfully. Great cup of ‘proper’ coffee IMO.

I love our Vertuo coffee machine. We have a subscription for the pods which works out well. We also have the milk frothier.

Nankate Is it the old Nespresso though or the vertuo ? I think Friday is correct you haven’t any choice, you have to buy only the vertuo pods. Wish I’d have looked into it first, we were hoping for hot chocolate as well. Treat yourself to another machine Friday, if their on offer you can get one for about £70 .
