Can anyone share advice on handheld steamers, I have 4 new heavy long curtains to hang , they arrived creased and I can’t imagine it would be an easy job to iron , so I was thinking of buying a hand held steamer to use on my curtains,
I think it would be useful to irons couple of tops without having to get the ironing board out. Any thoughts please would be appreciated ,

I gave my daughter one, she loves it, says it has transformed her life! Doesn’t mean that she never needs to iron, but a quick steam of a dress/ blouse before going out. She has promised to steam my curtains.

I bought one last week and have used it most days - experimenting you understand wink I should have bought one years ago! Brilliant for curtains, bedding, delicate items which tend to slip whilst being ironed and ideal for the items I've hung on hangers to dry but which still need a final touch to look good. I'm sure it will be used once a week from now on.

They are brilliant - bought one a few months ago and they really are worth it. All my bedding now looks wonderful and I do it all whilst it's on the bed !

What makes do you ladies have please? I'd love one - I have used my Shark steamer sometimes, especially for curtains, but it's a bit unwieldy.

Can’t remember exactly, but it came from Curry’s and was about £100 two years ago. Apparently a bigger water container makes life easier.
