jr011147, you really don't need a carpenter to replace doors and drawer fronts. It's so simple that you can do it yourself - or any handyman will do. Measure the existing ones and look online for replacements.

I believe there are also companies that specialise in updating kitchens, but you'll have to pay dearly.

I'd recommend joining this page and put kitchens in the search bar. People have painted both wood and laminate kitchens with marvellous results, and avoided a lot of disruption as well as landfill.

Cheaper option, use fablon to cover the doors and worktops.

Does anyone know a carpenter that could put new doors on existing kitchen units in Luton area? just looking for a refurb to see me through to my ‘real’ old age!!
