Hi folks

Would you mind telling me how much you pay for your broadband and landline?

I’ve just removed TV from my Virgin package, and they have given me a stupid price for my reduced package, so I’d really like to know what the norm is.

I’m just putting my shopping away - back soon.

Thank you! smile

Is your line rental included for £18 lemsip?

Yes, it is inclusive...£18 a month.

Thanks Sweetpeasue. Knowing that you got TalkTalk down to the £22.95 I am currently paying just recently means that I will most definitely not settle for more.
It is disgraceful that these companies try to take advantage of loyal customers.
I have a good deal with my mobile from Lebara. £5 a month for all landline and mobile U.K. calls and texts, 100 mins of international calls and 3 GB of data - all much more than I need. If anyone has a better deal I would love to hear about it.

Sorry Esspee It's actually £23-50.
Still an awful lot better than the the 35 quid odd they were putting it up to until I objected.
What a pain all these contracts are.

£41 for what Fanny?

Landline and broadband Esspee

I’m with Sky for my TV (new swanky pants Sky Glass) which of course is a separate matter

Eventually I’ll swap to Sky for everything, but (ironically) didn’t want the hassle at the moment

We pay £92 a month! This is because DH has all the sports channels. Madness I know!

Nothing wrong with that!
If that’s for Sky Sports etc, land line and broadband

Isn’t it a complete hassle, though, to have to change your email address?

If you change your email address to a generic one such as gmail, yahoo or hotmail, you do not need to change it when moving providers. I have two email addresses, one with yahoo for personal use and one with gmail for shopping, utilities, household things. That way, if I get emails on my yahoo account claiming to be from Amazon, my bank or any business, I know it is a scam!

I think that I’m being cut off again ?

FannyCornforth Wed 29-Dec-21 13:11:01

Wow lemsip, that’s very good

I pay £18 a month for broaband and land line. It was Post Office broadband but they are now Shell Energy. price the same £18. I go on one of the search sights each year for cheapest.

I have no extras on tv which I own....

mobile phone with Sky.. £3.25 a month includes all calls and texts.

FannyCornforth Wed 29-Dec-21 13:09:50

You’d be mad to sign up with them for anything

FannyCornforth Wed 29-Dec-21 13:08:49

On my fifth call now.
Call handlers in India haven’t got a clue, and then say that they will transfer me, and then cut me off.
It’s utterly shite

FannyCornforth Wed 29-Dec-21 12:25:51

This is awful?

£48 a month with Talktalk. Just phone and internet so I think I'll be contacting them about deals as it's nearly doubled in less than a year.

FannyCornforth Wed 29-Dec-21 12:05:44

I'm going in!!!

glammanana Wed 29-Dec-21 11:58:31

I have been with BT for about 10yrs now and have landline/TV package/fibre optic broadband for approx £42 per mth.
I cannot get rid of my landline as it is connected to my careline I am due to renew my contract soon and every year I renegotiate with them on the threat of leaving I have always been lucky enough to keep it in the £40ish region.

Grannynannywanny Wed 29-Dec-21 11:56:02

I can happily get by on the cheapest tv package with Virgin as my daughter has signed my tv into their Netflix and Prime Video accounts. So, I’ve got more than enough to browse. I’m restricted in choice of internet provider in my location but I don’t let Virgin know that when I’m quoting their competitors ?

Smileless2012 Wed 29-Dec-21 11:14:19

Ours is £30 per month plus £15 for BT sport for Mr. S.
