REPLACING KITCHEN UNIT DOORS

Hello,good morning.Has anyone got experience of just changing kitchen unit doors,we have had our kitchen nine years,just the 2 of us of still i think in good condition just the white doors are starting to look yellow in certain lights,not through cooking not the best of cooks so don't really bother,they are wiped down daily tried lots of things on them so thought maybe just replace the doors if it's not to expensive want to move house hopefully next year,could leave them but it annoys me husband does'nt really notice but also may help with a future sale[so i tell him].thank you

Several years ago, I had a long galley kitchen with those dark oak coloured doors which were so popular a decade or so ago. Good, solid wood ones. Was loath to see them go to landfill, and to pay stupid amounts of money to have them all replaced, probably by something nowhere near as good. Did a lot of research and found a lovely company who came in one week, took them all away, top and bottom and drawer fronts, and a week later returned and re-fitted them beautifully, having cleaned and sprayed them white.

Made the most incredible difference. Cost only a tiny percentage of replacing them. This was about seven years before I sold that house, and they still looked pretty good then.

Why not paint the doors, it will make a lot of difference and brighten things up. A friend did it and it works very well.

I think it would be a waste of money. The buyers might want to change whatever you have but I agree that white would look so much nicer.
