Watered down?

I have just bought a bottle of toilet cleaner, from a reputable shop that I don't want to name. The toilet cleaner was usually a thick liquid. On going to put some around the toilet bowl, it came out like water. Ive never had this with this brand before, but I do know on a forum somewhere that people were complaining about hand soap being watered down. Have any of you found that cleaning/washing products are a much thinner consistency now? I was actually quite shocked at how watery this toilet cleaner was.

Doesn't surprise me. Unfortunately, as long as they've changed the contents printout on the label, they're legit. However we are equally able to move on. I've had to do this myself with various products. Worst so far has been coffee which kept the same size jar but reduced the gms inside. We really have to stay alert to unscrupulous traders. Not easy.

Yesterday, I opened a packet of my favourite marshmallow teacakes, to find they were half the size, for the same price!

Probably a good thing for my diet!

I've thought the same with a well known washing up liquid. It's no longer as thick as it used to be in fact a much cheaper washing up liquid produces more suds for less.

Same as Smileless. Washing up liquid is really thin nowadays and just gushes out of the bottle but produces less suds. I found a bottle purchased a couple of years ago in the back of a cupboard and the difference is very discernible. It has lasted twice as long as recent purchases.
I wonder if it has anything to do with saving the environment?

Fruit juice is another. Sainsbury's is still 1 litre, but Tropicana sometimes has 150ml less and charges what it used to or more.
