Thermostat is set for 20 - that’s one thing I won’t economise on. I have Bronchiectasis and need to be warm …

I set the heating to about 19 if and when I switch it on. If it is freezing I might bump it up to 21. But that won't be happening much anymore. And the heating will only be on if it is bone rattlingly cold. My DGS has acclimatised to living in a cold house, poor lad.

I tend to sit in my bed in the evenings and either work or watch my laptop. With duvets, blankets and a fluffy dressing gown, it's possible to be warm without heating.

Thermostat set for 21, upstairs only our bedroom and the main bathroom radiators are on and our ensuite window is tilted open.

No idea.

I have a very old thermo switch and the numbers have worn off.

Reasonably low, I'm sure, because I can't stand being too hot.

20 C when the heating is on, 7 - 9 a.m. and 6 - 9.30 p.m. Our bungalow was modernised about 8 years ago which included insulation, it retains the heat well.

I keep the room I am in at about 20; the radiators in all the other rooms are off. I basically live in my kitchen/diner (which faces south and is very warm) and only occasionally go in the living room, where the radiator is off, unless I am sitting in there.

I put the bedroom radiator on for 15 minutes before I go to bed to take the chill off.

Just come in thermostat said 17 as heating has been off for a few hours just boosted it for a couple of hours
Tend to keep it 18 to 20 depending on weather. If house gets too cold takes a while to warm up

Usually about 19 when the heating is on.

We have zoned heating so temperatures are different in both areas. In the living area, when we sit down for the evening, it used to be at 21.5, now reduced it to 20 and don't notice the difference. In the bedrooms, same temperature, but only for one hour in the morning, one hour in the evening. Four bed bungalow.

Just checked ,downstairs is sitting at 12 ,
upstairs is slightly warmer at 13 .
We didn't go above 13 degrees all day yesterday .

Its an attempt to see how we tolerate the cold should next winter see more massive rises.I never have heating on in daytime ever,I dont really feel the cold but my OH ramps it up when he comes in so our bills at the moment are around the £350 a month mark .
We're in a 5 bed ,3 bath ,2 large public room detached ,in the West of Scotland .

When the heating is on we keep the house at about 20 degrees centigrade. The heating goes off at night. We have a triple window living room which becomes very warm when the sun shines and so we’ll turn the heating down or off on sunny days.

Just seen a thread on this over on MN and a surprising variation.

My living room is a constant 21/22
Bedroom/upstairs office 16/17

Small detached 2 bed and a boxroom 1980s

Its fair to say I have arthritis and will not be economising on heating although I have cut down on some other things such as little food treats.

Im currently working downstairs on the laptop.

I never have baths, only showers. Seldom cook as a relative brings me 4/5 meals a week which I just pop into the micro.
