Home buyers protection insurance

Has anyone bought home buyers protection insurance when buying a home. It reimburses some of the survey, solicitors costs, buyer pulling out of sale.

Yes my daughter did and she was very glad when it fell through. She’s currently in the process of purchasing a different flat (a better one as it happens!) and has taken out BPI again.
