Boiler service

Had mine done this morning. I have been with Homeserve since they started . Over the years they have saved me a lot of money. Best of all peace of mind if I have any problems with my heating and plumbing.

Not long after I moved here had broken sewer pipe on property. Dread to think how much it would have cost me without it. As they had to put the camera down 4 times,gang of 4 did the work. Part of my drive had to be dug up and a sewerage tanker had to come and clean up the gunck as the foreman called it. All done in one day and drived repaired. I have the cover with no excess .

Yes that is a good reminder. We have ours booked in for next week.

Our boiler had its annual service yesterday, no problems so all set for winter.

I keep meaning to phone up to arrange mine. They usually contact me but I haven’t heard from them. I’d imagine that it affects your house insurance if you don’t get it done at the right time. Since the pandemic started I don’t always get reminders for things and I seem to lose track of where in the year we are and what’s due? I missed the dogs booster and had to have the whole course done again.

We use a local firm, just around the corner, who we are on first name terms with. They send us an email when it is due.

The sweep is booked in for next week. i think we will be using our wood stove much more this year.

My guy was the chap who fitted it, he puts it in his diary for following year.

me and my two neighbours are all booked in, same day in early september. The boiler specific company to keep within the guarantee. Stove was done in july.
